X Ray

X Ray

X-ray, also known as x-radiation, is a type of medical imaging that produces images of the structures inside your body by exposing a part of the body to a small dose of ionizing radiation. An x-ray (radiograph) is a non-invasive medical test that helps physicians diagnose and treat various medical conditions. Dense materials, such as bone and metal, will appear as white on X-rays while soft materials such as fat and muscle will show up as darker images on the film.

At SRS Diagnostics, special care is taken while performing x-ray examinations to use the lowest radiation dose possible while producing the best images for evaluation.

Common usage of X-rays:

Doctors will ask you to get an x-ray for one of the following reasons:

  • Fractured Ankles & Wrists
  • Sports Injuries
  • Trips and Falls
  • Smashed Fingers, Feet & Toes.
  • Twisted Knee or Elbow
  • Motor Vehicle Accidents

These images can also be used in the diagnosis and treatment of arthritis, osteoporosis, blocked blood vessels, and many more conditions.

Our radiologist who is precisely trained to supervise and interpret radiology examinations, will analyse the images and generate a report.
